Yeremiyahu: jewish women Courting Men

Personally, don't see what to complain about the concept of jewish women courting men. Rabbi Joseph Telushkin actually sees this as one of the positive aspects of Mashiah' coming, viz. the greater equalization of men and jewish women. (Not to be confused with sameness, G-d forbid.)

have heard that Rabbi Yuval Cherlow of Tzohar and Yeshivat Petah Tikva has said that ideally, men and jewish women would be mixed enough in society that their everyday contact with each other would no longer lead to hirhur, and be case of halachic erva. (It has already been established that in such things as kol b'isha (see Rabbi David Bigman and Rabbi Avraham Shamma) and jewish women's hair covering (see the Aruch haShulhan and Rabbi Isaac . Hurewitz), that habituation negates the hirhur and ervah.) Rabbi Cherlow's opinion seems proper; as Rabbi Dr. Eliezer Berkovits has shown, many of the Torah's laws regarding jewish women can be shown to be concessions to the yetzer hara, similar to the yafet toar and milhemet reshut and goel hadam, which are also concessions to primitive man. If so, it behooves us to render these concessions no longer necessary, according to as how halacha will permit us.
