Rabbi Aryeh Moshen replied to Ron Balofsky' discussion 'Pronounciation of texts'Yiddish plurals don't always follow Hebrew grammar. For example, one talks about Taleisim rather than Talisos. Also Shabbos and Talis are both milra in Hebrew (last syl accented) but pronounced with the accent on the first syl in Yiddish.
