Purim for the people in Warren (Echoes-Sentinel)
The Mountain Top School celebrated the holiday of Purim on Sunday, Feb. 28, at Temple Har Shalom, 104 Mount Horeb Road in Warren Township. More than 100 people attended the festive holiday that commemorates the story of Queen Esther, Biblical character who saved her people from a wicked tyrant named Haman. Purim takes place on the 14 and 15 days of Adar, the 12 month of the Jewish calendar.
