Childrens books for grown-ups, too

One of the benefits of becoming parent is getting to revisit classic childrens books. As new parents, we load up on Dr. Seuss and Curious George and treat them like gold. But while those picture books are charming, was happy to move on after years of plotless Goodnight Moon. craved real storylines, maybe even some nonfiction.
