‘Think before you hate’
On Magda Brown’ 17th birthday — June 11, 1944 —* she was shoved into a cattle car with 80 other people and shipped from Hungary to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Poland. Brown, along with many other Hungarian Jews, was transported to a concentration camp that day. After arriving, she was separated from her parents, who were sent directly to the gas chambers.
